Horton Burk, 82 of Decatur died Friday, Feb. 17 in a local nursing home.
Services were Monday at Christain-Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Decatur. Elder Jerry Swindell officiated. Burial was in
Lone Star Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Asa, David, Johnathon and Elvin Daniel, Nathaniel Burk, Roy Shackelford and Wayne Lewis.
Burk, born May 16, 1901 in Holt married Ina May Hopkins, Aug. 23 1929 in Amarillo. He was a member and deacon of Lone Star Primitive Baptist Church.
Other survivors include : sons Theodore Burk of Silver City, NM, James Grady Burk of Springtown, daughter Bonnie Eudale of Weatherford, brothers Oliva Burk of Zephyr and Colquit Burk of Brownwood, sister Mrs. Robbie Powell of Richland Springs and eight grandchildren.
