Funeral for Carolyn Ann Lang Gillespie, 73, of Garrison will be at noon Saturday at Stockman United Methodist Church in the Stockman Community. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Appleby. Ms. Gillespie died Jan. 6, 2008, at her residence. Born March 25, 1934, in Galena Park, she was the daughter of C.F. and Lydia Lang. She was an honor graduate of the University of Houston. Survivors include sons, Richard David Gillespie III of Athens, Gregory Lang Gillespie of Bullard and Glen Allan Gillespie of Houston; daughter, Carolyn Gail Gillespie Sharron of Houston; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday. Garrison Funeral Home, Garrison.
