Leland Robert Pratt, son of Sylvester and Emma (Jensen) Pratt, was born January 8, 1921 in Bancroft, Nebraska. He departed from this life July 13, 1981 at the Veterans Hospital in Topeka, Kansas at the age of 60 years, 6 months and 5 days.
Bob, as he was know to family and friends, moved with his family to McCracken, Kansas when he was 12. He resided there until he entered the U.S. Army in World War II.
After completing his service in the Army, he moved to Topeka, Kansas where he was employed by the Santa Fe Trailways until his retirement in 1978.
He spent most of his retirement in Salina, Kansas. Now his address has been changed from TIME to ETERNITY.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; William and Gordon.
He leaves to cherish his memory one son, William Pratt, Salina; two daughters; Kathie Pratt, Salina and Shirley Wishom, Topeka; three grandchildren: Toyse, Libra and Donnie, Topeka; and three sisters; Dorothea Schwindt, Ness City; Helen Dent, Culver, and Blanche Smith, Topeka; other relatives and many friends.
