Mrs. Blanche Morris Hancock, 101 East Henry Street, died at her residence yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock after a long illness. Born in Columbia, S.C., November 22, 1886, Mrs. Hancock had been living in Savannah for the past 48 years. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the residence. The Rev. Brunson C. Wallace, pastor of Grace Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Bonaventure Cemetery. Irvine Henderson funeral; Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hancock is survived by her husband, Charles N. Hancock; four sons, Charles N. Hancock, Jr., and Jack N. Hancock, of Savannah; A. Carleton Hancock and Arthur e. Hancock of Atlanta; two daughters, Mrs. R. L. Anderson and Mrs. Mary Ellis of Savannah; her mother, Mrs. Emma Morris, Savannah; two brothers, James A. Morris, Savannah, and Norwood Morris, Hinesville; two sisters, Mrs. F.R. Snead and Mrs. May Boyd, of Savannah; several grandchildren nieces and nephews.
