Born Feb. 23, 1946 in Warren County to the late Jinnie Vee Hawkins, Mrs. Davis joined Coley Springs Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and attended John R. Hawkins High School. She was a seamstress at A&A Coat Factory in Paterson, N.J.
Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by a sister, Aldrena Bowens.
She is survived by her husband, Wortham Davis, Jr.; two daughters, Priscilla Davis and Angela Richardson; a son, Phillip Davis, all of Warrenton; a sister, Shirley Edmonds of Durham; one grandson; and a host of relatives and friends.
Pall bearers were Bernard Davis, Travis Richardson, Clemon Hawkins, Jr., Donald Brown, Eugene Brown, Preston Davis, Stanley Hawkins and Donnell Hawkins.
Arrangements were by Boyd's Funeral Services.
