Harvey Clary Sr. Harvey CLARY Sr., 78, R.R. 1, Rochester, died at 7:10 p.m. Thursday in the Lakeland, Fla. general hospital where he had been a patient two days. He had been ill several years. He was born April 18, 1896, at Kewanna, to Elbert and Nevada WILLIAMS CLARY. Her had lived his entire life in this community with the exceptions of the winter months when he resided in Florida. His first marriage was Aug. 25, 1920 in St. Joseph, Mich. to Elva G. LOWE. She died Aug. 14, 1961. His second marriage was to Pearl E. FANCIL on Oct. 26, 1963 in Rochester. She survives. A retired farmer, he was a member of the First Christian church here, F&AM 79, World War I Barracks 479 and the RSVP in Rochester. He was a veteran of World War I. Also surviving are two sons, Harvey [CLARY], Jr., and Richard [CLARY], both of R.R. 1, Rochester; one step-son, Gene FANCIL, Warsaw; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister and one brother preceded in death. Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Foster & Good funeral home. The Rev. Josef PALAT will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday where the F&AM 79 will conduct memorial services at 7:30 p.m.
