Mr. Murray, who died Tuesday in the Gila County Hospital after a short illness, was bornin Wilson County, Texas, and came to Globe 32 years ago to open a furniture and hardware store. He retired in 1933.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. May Murray; four daughters, Mrs. C.M. Williams of Lordsburg, N.M.; Mrs. Floyd B. Jones of Breckenridge, Texas; and Mrs. J.H. Hogan of Santa Maria, California; and three sons, A.W. Murray of Dallas, Texas; A.S. Murray of Davis Dam, and Clarence D. Murray of Globe.
