Zielinski, 82, Beloved husband of Mary Zielinski; father of John of Salem, Hattie Himmelman of Woodburn and Mrs. Leona Wayjoick of Portland; brother of August, Peter and Cahrles of Salem. Tilda Kobow of Salem, Julia Whelan of Stockton, Cal; and Frances Brunkalla of Milwaukee, Wis. Recitation of the Rosary will be held Sunday, January 17, at 3 p.m. at the chapel of the Salem mortuary, 545 North Capitol street. Requiem mass will be held Monday, January 18, at 9 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic church, Rev. Father Keenan officiating. Interment St. Barbara's cemetery. friends invited.

..............................................................Hazel Green, Jan. 18 - Final rites were held at St. Vincent dePaul church in Salem Monday morning for Joseph J. Zielinksi, 82, who died Friday night at the home of his son John.
Joseph Zielinski came with his father, Andrew, and brothers, August, George, Peter and Charles and sisters,Matilda Kobow and Julia Whelan from Poland in 1871, stopping a few years in Iowa and then coming on here, where the brothers and Mrs. Kobow have lived for more than 50 years. He and his brothers August and George served in the German army.
Mr. Zielinksi leaves a widow, Mary; son John here; daughters Mrs. Hattie Himmelmen, Woodburn and Mrs. Leona Wayjorck of Portland; brothers, Peter of here and Charles of Salem; and sisters, Mrs. Matilda Kobow of Clater,Mrs.Julia Whelas of Stockton,Calif; and Mrs. Francis Brunkalla of Milwaukee, Wis.
