Funeral services for Mrs. Eaton at the Wetmore Funeral Parlor, conducted by Rev. G. T. Roberts.

The daughter of John and Esther Campbell, she came with her family to Taylor Co. in the early 1850's. Born 1 of 8 children, she assumed the role of mother to the family, when their mother died. One of her sisters became a teacher in the public schools and a brother a minister of the Gospel.

In June, 1870, she married to Byron G. Eaton, living on a farm near the present site of Sharpsburg, later moving to Hopkins, MO, where they resided for a number of years. To this union was born one son, Byron I./P. Eaton*.

A life long member of the Methodist Episcopal church, she retained her membership in the Grand Ave. M. E. Church of K.C., MO, in which this city had been her home for 40 years. She was a charter member of the first organization of the Order of Eastern Star of Bedford.

Predeceased by her husband, who passed away in Oct. 1893, she is survived by her son, Byron; 1 known step-daughter, Bessie Jane Eaton Coleman, La Veta, Huerfano, CO; 2 brothers, Lock Campbell of Conway, IA, and Rev. Orr Campbell of Govert, S. D.
