Paula Joy Gordon, 46, of Paris died at 10:07 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at her home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 25, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. George Flowers officiating. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

She was born Jan. 28, 1953, in Paris to Dennis M. and Pauline V. Smith Gordon. She graduated from Paris High School and attended Paris Junior College eventually earing her license in cosmetology. Ms. Gordon was a Christian.

Surviving are her mother who lives in Paris; two sisters, Betty Sisson and husband Pete and Dorothy Permenter, all of Paris; a brother, D. M. Gordon and wife Cherri of Sulphur Springs; two nieces, Donna Taylor and husband Danny of Paris and Renee Moore and husband Steve of Roscoe; a nephew, Cole Permenter and wife Carolyn of Sulphur Springs; two great-nieces, Leslie and Tara Moore; one great-nephew, Dane Taylor, and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1962.

Pallbearers will be Danny Leigh, Scotty Permenter, Randy Woodard, Denny Taylor, Steve Moore, and Benny Lovell. Honorary bearers will be Charles Helm, Craig Vaughn, and Carl Bryan.
