Glen Yergensen departed this life to be with his beloved wife, Elva, on August 10, 1995, at Mc Alester Regional Hospital, Mc Alester, Oklahoma, due to complications from orthopedic surgery.

Glen was born in Monroe, Utah, June 6, 1920, to Charles and Sarah Conder Yergensen. He began his journey through life with Elva Yergensen on May 13, 1939. Glen and Elva were blessed with three children; Steven Yergensen, of Dickinson, Texas; Julie Frampton, of Mc Alester, Oklahoma; and Dan Yergensen of Visalia, California.Glen began his business career by opening a service station in Salt Lake City. He and his family relocated to Monroe in 1951 to open a movie theater. He eventually went into partnership with his brothers, Eldon and Deleal. Together, they owned and operated several movie theaters and other properties in southern Utah, where he was active in the Rotary and Elks Club. Glen retired in Cedar City in 1982. After several years, he and Elva moved back to Salt Lake City to be near family.

Glen's greatest joy in life was to have is marriage to Elva solemnized in the Temple in August of 1984.

Glen is survived by his three children, ten grandchildren; Stephanie Moore, Noelle Lewis, Sarah, Andrea, and David Yergensen; Brandon Frampton, Danielle Klucas, Anthony Frampton; Kirsten and Erik Yergensen; six great-grandchildren; Jennifer and Melanie Moore, Heather and Nicole Lewis, Caleb Klucas and Aaron Pineda.

Glen followed in the footsteps of his pioneer ancestors and held the calling of High Priest at the time God called him home.
