Robert L. Crotty , 59, of Brutus Road, Jordan, died Monday at Community-General Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Crotty was a life resident of Jordan. He was employed with Crucible Specialty Metals since 1955. Mr. Crotty was a 1947 graduate of Jordan High School and in 1951 was a member of the first graduating class of LeMoyne College.
Mr. Crotty was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Jordan, and the Jordan Golf League. An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, Mr. Crotty was a member of Jordan Post 1127, American Legion.
Surviving are a brother, Charles F. of Potomac, Md.; five sisters, Marjorie Austin of Elbridge, Helen Popp of Syracuse, Catherine Manley of Fulton, Maureen Molloy of New York City and Jean Crotty of Baldwinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10:45 a.m. Thursday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, Jordan, and 11 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church. Spring burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Skaneateles.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 15 N. Main St.
Contributions may be made to the Jordan Ambulance Fund or the human development fund of St. Patrick's Church
