Deceased Name: Robert Cyril Pitcher Robert Cyril Pitcher, 81, of Hayden, Idaho, formerly of Lewiston, Utah, died at his home on May 26, 2005.

He was born on April 16, 1924, in Lewiston, Utah, to Henry Cyril and Phoebe Boman Pitcher.

Bob was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was raised in Lewiston and graduated from North Cache High School in 1942. He was drafted into the United States Army and served in the European theater in the 63rd Infantry for three years. After his Army service, he settled in Lewiston. He loved playing baseball and pitched a perfect no-hitter for the Lewiston 2nd Ward team.

In 1957 he moved his family to Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, where he purchased a dairy farm. Later, he was the owner and auctioneer of the Coeur d' Alene Livestock Auction. He went on to become a founding member of All Star Realty. In all of his business dealings, he was known for his honesty and integrity.

He taught his children the value of hard work and his favorite saying was, "Do it right the first time." He loved the outdoors and to hunt and fish with his sons.

He married Beth Rauch in 1997. He is survived by his wife, Beth; sister, Mildred Olmstead of Logan; brother, Jed L. Pitcher of Lewiston; and Bob's six children with Joye Bingham: Cathryn (Fred) Sharp of Post Falls, Idaho, Annette (Dan) Pierce of Ogden, Robert Pitcher of Hayden, Todd Pitcher of Hayden, Kelly Pitcher of Clearfield and Irene (Russ) Galt of Layton. Bob has 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with one more soon to come.

Graveside services will be held at noon on Tuesday, May 31, 2005, in the Lewiston City Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the Lewiston 1st Ward Chapel, 1000 S. and 1600 West, Lewiston, Tuesday morning from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Interment in the Lewiston City Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary.
