Joshua Lee "Josh" Lowry was granted his angel wings on May 2, 2009 following a lifelong illness. Joshua's life would seem too short to many, but some flames burn so bright that destiny determines that their job is done in just a few short years. His gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard.
Although Joshua's illness made him appear frail, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With his courage he led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. With Joshua's passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss him every day, especially his winning smiles, he will forever remain in our hearts.
Josh leaves behind many wonderful caregivers that provided love and support that enhanced his quality of life. Joshua's love extends to his wonderful nurses, Wendy and Micah. Josh is survived by his loving parents, Constance Lowry and Ernie Tisdale. Also surviving are his loving stepfather, Jeff Howard; a sister, Alexandra "Ali"; paternal grandparents, Joe and June Tisdale; maternal grandparents, Phyllis Gibson and Dennis Tisdale; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of Chillicothe.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
