Harvey Hyrum Brady, 61, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, died Saturday, June 17, 1995 in Spokane, Wash-ington, of a heart attack doing what he loved most, playing tennis with his dear wife.

He was born September 12, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the 13th child of Hyrum Andrew Brady and Harriett Ann Peirce. He married Ruth Burr, March 10, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temle.

He was a graduate of Jordan High and the University of Utah. Harvey was a Korean War veteran in the Marine Corps. He was succ-essful in many different areas of business, spending many years in the agriculture industry and most recently, as a general contractor in Spokane. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Harvey will always be remembered for his honesty, integrity and selfless nature. He was very devoted to God, his loving wife and family. He was hard working, fun loving and enjoyed telling good stories-and the family liked to hear them. He always praised his children and showed great love and generosity towards them. Daily he told his wife he loved her and treated her like the queen that she is. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ruth; his children, Mrs. Bradley R. (Becky) Derrick of Salt Lake City; Marilyn Montour, Douglas K. "Zan" Brady, Mrs. Peter P. (Janet) Dietzel, and Donald G. Brady, all of Spokane, Wash.; 16 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Agnes Allen, Mrs. Arvin (Afton) Epp of Los Altos, Calif.; Mrs. Nick (Raeola) Mascaro, Melvin Brady of Provo; Mrs. Robert (Melba) Graham of St. George; Calvin Brady and Mrs. Dale (Carol) Baldwin, of Summit Park. Preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held in Spokane.

A local viewing will be held Saturday, June 24th, at 10 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, followed by memorial services at 11 a.m. Graveside dedication and burial will be at Murray City Cemetery.
