He is survived by two sons, Littleton Reese Taylor, Jr., Dallas, Texas and John Elbert Taylor, Bay Minette; two daughters, Mary Taylor Scarborough, Rochester, MN, and Myrtle Taylor Johnson, Bay Minette; nine grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Fred Taylor, Mobile; and four sisters, Lena Taylor, Hawaii; Nell Reagan, Houston, TX; Ruby Callahan, Schriever, LA; and Fannie Cross, Greenville.
The family received friends Monday, October 13, 1997 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements were by Norris Funeral Home, Bay Minette, Alabama.

Littleton Reese Taylor Sr., 78, a native of Greenville and resident of Bay Minette, died Oct. 11, 1997, at North Baldwin Hospital in Bay Minette. He was retired from the Alabama State Highway Department. Taylor was a member and past master of Bay Minette Masonic Lodge No. 498, F & AM , a member of Ella D. Chambers Chapter No. 26, Order of the Eastern Star.

with Masonic services conducted at the graveside by Bay Minette Lodge No. 498, F & AM. Masons served as pallbearers.
