Mildred E. Bay was born April 27, 1917 in Lonedell, Missouri the daughter of the late William Francis Dearing and his wife, Matilda, nee Baumann. She passed away Sunday, June 4, 2006 in St. Clair, MO at the age 89 years old.

Mildred received her schooling at Indian Creek School in rural St. Clair, MO. Mrs. Bay worked at Carmo Shoe Factory for many years and later at St. Clair Knife Factory.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Bay. Three brothers, Raymond Dearing, Hubert Dearing and Walter Dearing. Five sisters, Florence Marchbank, Ada Ahmann, Grace Henderson, Marie German and Alice Sullivan. One son-in-law, Bill Ogden and one grandson, Timothy Bay.

She is survived by three sons, Carl Bay and his wife, Brenda, of Mexico, MO, Gailand Bay and his wife, Kay, Carnesville, GA and Dennis Bay and his wife, Linda, of Piedmont, MO. Three daughters, Norma Calhoun and her husband, Clyde, of St. Clair, MO, Donna Ogden of Poplar Bluff, MO and Adrea Bettis and husband, Bob, of Kansas City, MO. Sixteen grandchildren. Thirty-five great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Many other relatives and friends.


The Funeral Service was held Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the Oltmann Funeral Home in Union, MO with Rev. Patrick Singleton and Rev. Lloyd Ward officiating. Interment followed in the Midlawn Cemetery in Union, MO.
