Mrs. Davis and her husband formerly owned the Norclay Apartments in Kansas City, North, and the Oak Ridge Apartments in Riverside. She was a founder of the North Star chapter of the American Business Women's Association. She was a member of the Alpha chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Clay County Democratic Club and the Liberty Senior Citizens Center.
She was a member of the Gashland Baptist Church and a former member of the Antioch Community Church. She was born in Riley, Kan., and lived in this area most of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Ernest R. Davis of the home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel; burial in White Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the chapel." The Kansas City Times, December 2, 1989
