The funeral for Mrs. Priscilla Janice Cox, 28, of Newbern Rd., who died Tuesday in Duke University Hospital, Durham, N.C., after a brief illness, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday from First United Methodist Church. Dr. Robert H. Duncan will officiate assisted by the Rev. Phillip F. Ernst. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Born in Pulaski, Nov. 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Howard Clifton Jones. Surviving are her husband, James Franklin Cox; one daughter, Emily Preston Cox, at home; her mother, Mrs. Sylvia S. Jones, and one brother, Jimmy C. Jones, both of Pulaski; one sister, Mrs. Elray Hanks, Wilmington, Del.
The body will remain at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home until one hour before the service.
