LEBO -- Robert Evans Gould, 66, Lebo, died Friday, Jan. 29, 1999, at his home.

Mr. Gould was a grocery clerk for 32 years, and he had worked at Reebles in Emporia. He served three years in the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper in the 1950s.

He was born July 27, 1932, at Emporia, the son of Leslie M. and Alice Evans Gould. He was graduated from Lebo High School in 1950 and was a lifelong resident of Lebo. Mr. Gould was a member of Lebo United Methodist Church and Post No. 323 of the American Legion at Lebo.

He was married to Gertrude Osman on Dec. 23, 1951, in Lebo. She survives.

Other survivors include four sons, Rodney Gould, Hartford, Roger Gould and Vincent Gould, both of Lebo, and Bobbie Gould, Oskaloosa; and 13 grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lebo United Methodist Church.

Burial will be at Lincoln Cemetery in Lebo.

Relatives and friends will meet from 3:30 to 5 p.m. today at Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home in Lebo.
