Aldo Franklin Kite, 52, died at 3:15 a.m. today at his home on Lyndhurst Rd., after an illness of 10 months. Born Aug. 11, 1904, in Rockbridge County, Mr. Kite was a son of Mrs. Ida May Blackwell Kite, Stuarts Draft, and the late Edward Wilmer Kite.

Mr. Kite was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and charter member and active worker of the Oak Hill-Ladd Ruritan Club. Living in Waynesboro all his adult life, Mr. Kite was a foreman in the Power and Maintenance Department at the local Du Pont plant where he was employed since March, 1932.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Kite is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma Ruth Hildebrand Kite; three daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Miller, Warrenton, Mrs. Audrey Bibb, Weyers Cave, and Mrs. Emma Jean Baker, Waynesboro; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Weaver, Route 1, Waynesboro; two brothers, Sylvester T. Kite and Samuel A. Kite, both of Stuarts Draft; three grandsons, one granddaughter, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Body will remain at the Etter Funeral Home until the hour of service. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bethlehem Lutheran church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. T. Y. Mullins. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
