Owen Cleveland Alley, age 74 of Pulaski, died Monday August 2, 2004 at Pulaski Community Hospital. Born May 24, 1930 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Nellie Sutphin Alley & Leonard "Lynn" Alley. He was a retired employee of Magvox and a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Korean Conflict, a member of the Pulaski V.F.W., and was a member of the Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, and a special grandson. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Betty Gates Alley of Pulaski, one son, Owen Robert Alley & his wife, Rita of Goose Creek, SC; one daughter, Teresa "Terri" A. Six & her husband, Mike of Pulaski. Also survived by two grandsons, James Steven Alley of Goose Creek, SC, and Robert Allen Alley of the U.S. Air Force in Korea, and one granddaughter, Pamala Jean Alley of Goose Creek, SC. Also survived by a friend and brother of love, Bill Lester & his wife, Martha. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 5, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Weston Guthrie officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery where the V.F.W. Post 1184 will conduct military graveside rites. Visiting will be anytime Wednesday after 2 p.m. where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions in the memory of Mr. Alley to the Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church.
