In the 1895 census John and Andrew Ericson (ages 22 and 17) were living with the Olson family. They may have been relatives or hired hands. The 1914 Atlas and Farmers' Directory of Chisago County Minnesota shows him living at the same address as his son Carl Magnus. Anders and Kajsa are buried at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in North Branch, Minnesota. The 1910 census shows daughter Phoebe as the head-of-household -- Andrew and Kate living with her in Branch Twp., Chisago Co., Minnesota.

Anders Olofsson was born 3 June 1838 at Rännelanda, Älvsborg Län, Sweden. His parents were Olof Amundsson and Maria Engelbretsdotter. Anders married Kajsa Pehrsdotter 15 March 1861 in Rännelanda. Kajsa was born 19 February 1836 at Rännelanda. Her parents were Pehr Mattisson and Maria Olsdotter. Anders preceded his family to America and the rest of them followed in 1885. The family lived in Fergus Falls, Minneapolis and then North Branch in 1887. They resided on a farm west of North Branch.

Anders died at his home on 3 July 1919 after a long illness. Kajsa had been the oldest member of Trinity before dying at the age of 97 on 25 April 1933. Anders and Kajsa are buried in Trinity Cemetery.

Anders and Kajsa had the following children:

Eva b. 1864 Rännelanda
Charles b. 1865 Rännelanda
Sofia b. 1867 Rännelanda
Betty b. 27 November 1871 Rännelanda
