Services were held January 9 for Mrs.Ida Josephine Wiberg, age 70, from the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Almelund Lutheran Church at Almelund with Rev. Emil F. Berggren officiated. Mrs. Wiberg died at the Bethesda Hospital, St. Paul, January 6. Interment was made at the Almelund Cemetery. Appropriate music was rendered at the church with Mrs. L. E. Sedlund, organist and Russell Anderson, the soloist.

The deceased was born near Almelund, February 21, 1878 and on November 30, 1899 she was married to Alfred Victor Wiberg. The following year they located on a farm near Almelund. They joined the Immanuel Lutheran Church of which she has been a faithful member ever since. Her husband passed away in 1926 and left her with a large family of children.

She is survived by one son, Chester Wiberg of Almelund, and four daughters, Mrs. Johnson of St. Paul, Mrs. Walter Olson and Mrs. Gust Nelson of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Gunnar Bergstrom of Robbinsdale. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Clara Shoberg and two brothers, Andrew and Charles E. Anderson all of Almelund, 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren besides a host of other relatives and friends.
