She was received into the communicant membership of the Lutheran Immanuel Church, Almelund, on May 24, 1892, of which church she continued as a member to the end of her life. On May 5, 1900 she was united in marriage to John A. Sjoberg. This union was blessed with three children, two of whom survive. At the time of her passing Mrs. Sjoberg had attained the age of 70 years, 2 months, and 12 days.

Mrs. Sjoberg leaves to survive her the following: 2 sons John Clifton of Almelund, and Chester Gilbert of Aurelia, IA; 1 sister, Mrs. Amanda Almquist of Almelund; 1 daughter in law, Mrs. Margaret Sjoberg; 3 grandchildren, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, a number of cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Three members of her immediate family preceded her in death. Her husband John A. Sjoberg, passed away on Jan 20, 1937. Barbara, wife of Chester Sjoberg, passed away on May 26, 1944, One daughter Ebba Marie, passed away in infancy at the age of about one and a half years.

Mrs. Sjoberg lived her entire life with the exception of one year during which time the family lived in Chisago City, in these parts. She lived in her town residence for a continuous period of 42 years. She was well known to many. She was a quiet unassuming lady. She chose not to mingle in the affairs of others. Occasionally she worshipped with the other church members of the congregation in her church. Books of a devotional nature could be found upon her table and they bore evidence of use.

Another life has been lived; another journey has been completed. What reminders the uncertainty of the number of our days and the suddenness of death should be of necessity of being at all times ready., with lamps trimmed and burning brightly.

Those who carried her mortal remains to earth's final resting place were John T. Shoberg, Walter Wennell, Charles Grandstrand, Conrad Johnson, Walter Benson, and John Bloomquist.
