Ida Christina Danielson died of a complication of diseases at the family home located two miles south of the Almelund Church. She had been a resident of Almelund since 1883. Ida was born in the Tofta Parish, Kronoberg's Ian, Smaland, Sweden. She married Andrew Johansson (Herberg) in October of 1877. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1882 with their three oldest children. The Herbergs joined the Swedish Lutheran Church in 1896 and Ida remained a member until her death. The Herbergs had 14 children. She was survived by her husband, Andrew, six sons, three daughters. Five children preceded her in death. She was also survived by one brother, Swen Danielson, of Lindstrom, and three sisters residing in the old country.
