Jennie was born on 17 Sept 1878 in Hemmesjö med Tegnaby, Kronoberg, Sweden. She immigrated to the US with her parents and older siblings in 1884. Jennie grew up on a farm with her 13 siblings in Amador Township, Chisago County, MN. She married Charley Anderson on June 30, 1904, in Minneapolis. The Andersons had one known child, a son baptized Amcy? Charles Herbert Anderson, born May 10, 1908, baptized December 1, 1909. He was called Amus or Amos by family members. Jennie died on July 10, 1912. She committed suicide by taking carbolic acid. It was noted in the death register that she had melancholia. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna, Ella, and Nan.
