Axel L. Anderson age 78, died at the St. Croix Falls Memorial Hospital at 5:30 am Wednesday of this week. His wife who was fatally hurt in the head-on collision at the junction of Highway 8 and 95 on March 1 died only about 2 hours later. Mrs. Anderson's funeral was last Saturday and Mr. Anderson's funeral will be this coming Saturday, March 16 from the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Almelund. Burial will be in the cemetery there.
