Place of burial is unknown though likely to be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Rockland Twp, Pa. Her last days were spent with Anthony Knox (1880 census of Rockland Twp) and Sylvester Brandon, her grandchildren; they were aware of the family heritage involved in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
Since the ground for the cemetery had been donated by her husband, Adam, and he was already buried there, they would have, most assuredly, have seen to it that she was buried there also. Since Adam Sr had left $2500 in his will for her care at his death, there should have been money to give her a decent burial and a marker.
In the 1950's at the first enumeration of the Pine Hill Cemetery, there was no marker marking her gravesite in Venango Co, Pa. (and there isn't one there now either). Her place of burial is unknown but expected to be along side her husband, Adam Steffee in Pine Hill Cemetery, Rockland Twp, Venango Co, Pa.
There is a depression in the ground alongside Adam Steffee, equidistant from Adam's and centered on his grave marker. In the 1870 census, she is listed as the wife of Adam Stiffee (sic).
