Liza Ann L. Safford
MEADOW - Funeral services for Mrs. Liza Ann Littlewood Safford, 70, who died Wednesday at the home of a son, Ordell Safford, after a brief illness, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in Meadow Ward chapel by Bishop Venoy Labrum.
Burial will be in the Meadow Cemetery, directed by L. N. Nickle & Sons Mortuary.
Mrs. Safford was born July 5, 1877, in Meadow, a daughter of George and Liza Ann Adams Littlewood. She was married to Parley P. Safford, who died in 1904. She was a lifelong resident of Meadow.
Mrs. Safford was an officer in various organizations of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Laura Warner Fillmore; two sons, Laurence and Ordell Safford, Meadow; 12 grandchildren, three of whom were reared by Mrs. Safford, two sisters, Mrs. George Rhea, Jeffery, Canada, and aMrs. Dora Ames, Meadow.
