Married Camey Petty; later divorced.
Member LDS Church.
He was a purchasing agent for Salt Lake Hardware for many years.
An insurance agent for Federal Life.
Member Utah National Guard, serving with 140th Field Artillery Unit.
Survived by sons and daughter, Mark and Greg Turpin, Murray; Daniele Turpin, Salt Lake City; fiance and best friend, Jan Mackay, Holladay; brothers and sister, Howard Turpin, Woods Cross; Wayne Turpin, Murray; Kevin Turpin and Robyn Poulson, both Fairview; stepdaughters, Mrs. Perilee Hutchison, Vermont; Brenda Hansen, Holladay.
Funeral services Tuesday, May 26, 1992, 11 a.m. Fairview First Ward Chapel.
Friends may call at chapel from 9:30 a.m. til time of services.
Burial: Fairview Cemetery, with military honors.
Funeral directors: Ursenbach Funeral Home.
