Wilma Neville Fowers passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on January 6, 2002 at the home of her sister, following a two year long battle with cancer.

She was born May 20, 1931 in Bountiful, Utah a daughter of John E. and Octavia Call Neville.

Wilma married Arthur Fowers on November 26, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple. She was raised on the family farm in West Layton. She moved to Hooper after she was married and has resided there for 43 years. She attended Davis county schools, and graduated from Davis High School. She was an active member in the Hooper 3rd Ward LDS church. She was employed at Hill Air Force Base in personnel as a personnel clerk where she met and made many friends. She retired in January 1988 with 36 years of service.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed her knitting machine, crocheting, quilting and tatting and having lunch with her friends.

Surviving are her husband, Arthur, one son, Garth (Penny) Fowers, Plain City; two daughters, Belva (Paul) Turcic, Rosemary (Bob) England, both of Hooper, six grandchildren, which she totally adored and spoiled rotten, Brexton Fowers, Kandice Fowers, Shalie Fowers, Logan England, Derek England, and Glenn Turcic, two brothers, Donald Neville, Kaysville; Wendall Neville, Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Virginia Green, Layton, two very special longtime friends, Donald Swiatocha, New York; and Larry Reed, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, and one brother-in-law.
