SCHWABE;Eugene Walter, engineman 3c, U.S. Navy who died on Aug 26, 1948 while in service at Nab, Kwaljahan, Marshall Islands; residence 2344 S. 30th st, aged 20 years, beloved son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Schwabe, (nee Mayer, brother of Mrs. Theresa Gruettner, Clarence, Betty Jane, and Darline; 1 brother-in-law, Norbert Gruettner, and 1 nephew Gerold P. Gruettner, also other relatives and friends survive. Services Oct. 5th at 8:30 a.m. from the Janssen Funeral Home, 2925 W Lincoln av, to Holy Ghost church. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Members of Holy Name Society, Holy Ghost parish will hold vigil Mon. at 8 p.m. Friends may call Monday at 1 p.m.
