Ruby Ann Copley, 72, of B'ville was homemaker

Ruby Ann Copley, 72, of Butlerville died at 12:40 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at her home.

Funeral service will be conducted at 12 p.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home in North Vernon, with the Rev. Claude Fouts officiating. Calling is from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home Friday. Burial will be in the Butlerville Cemetery.

Mrs. Copley was a homemaker. She was a member of Full Trinity Gospel Lighthouse in North Vernon. She enjoyed shopping, camping and the outdoors.

Born Feb. 20, 1937, in Ethel, W.Va., she was the daughter of Mart and Etta Hiles Brown. She married Ursel Copley on Oct. 31, 1954, in Ethel. He preceded her in death April 24, 1996.

Survivors include four sons, William Copley of Seymour, Harold Copley of Vernon, and Paul Copley and Randy Copley of Butlerville; two daughters, Tina Neace of Crothersville and Machel Scarberry of Butlerville; two brothers, Danny Brown of Butlerville and Marvin Brown of Zenas; two sisters, Janet Rader of Indianapolis and Rose Schultz of Clothier, W.Va.; 22 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, William Brown, Jr., and James Alvie Brown; and three sisters, Betty June Pedunivac, Jenny Montgomery and Edna Witt.

Mrs. Copley is survived by sons, William (Traci) Copley of Seymour, Harold (Debra) Copley of Vernon, Paul (Cathy) Copley and Randy (Becky) Copley, both of Butlerville; daughters, Tina (Jerry) Neace of Crothersville and Machel Scarberry of Butlerville; brothers, Danny Brown of Butlerville and Marvin Brown of Zenas; sisters, Janet (Robert) Rader of Indianapolis and Rose Schultz of Clothier, W.Va.; 22 grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ursel Copley.
