Mr. John Howard Ayers;
Kyle, Texas,

Dear Sir:

Recently I have learned more about our relations in Austin, Texas. I have worked on family records for many years. I like the work.

My father's oldest sister, Mary, married Will Ayers, Tenn. they moved to Texas abt. 1873-1880. they had several children. More were born later.

My father (John M.) & Uncle James M. Barlar visited them in 1891, stayed a few months.

Now I have a niece living in Austin, Tex. Secretary for University Ave. Church of Christ 9 years come Mar. Some of your people are members there.

Would like very much for you to send me all of the information you can about your Relatives.

I shall be glad to send you much that I have, from 1777, 1782, 1785. Phillips, Collier Barlow (Barlar). Many of our ancestors were born in North Carolina and settled in Giles Co. Tenn., later.

Will Ayers left a brother in Tenn. Alonzo (Lon) Tom Ayers, Nashville Tn. sister Alice Prince.

Please excuse writing and errors. I am a widow 87 yeas. old. A shutin with a broken hip. I am nearly blind. I cannot read much and writing is difficult.

I hope to hear from you soon if you can spare the time. Please tell me to whom I should send my record to.

Yours sincerely,
