Lenora was born May 4, 1908, in Clear Lake to Gilbert and Mary (Olson) Gullickson. She was baptized May 31, 1908, at Moe Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. She married Arthur Johnson on July 31, 1925, in St. Paul. To their union, seven children were born. They farmed in New Haven Township until retiring in 1971, when they moved to Connorsville. In 2005, she moved to Boyceville and lived with her daughter, Lavone, until October of 2008.
Lenora is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur, in 1992.
She is survived by children, Gaylord (Jane) Johnson of Boyceville, Ardeth (Ronald) Beguh of Kenosha, LaVonne (Albert) Matula of Boyceville, Delphine (Wesley) Danovsky of Boyceville, Marlene (Marlyn) Leach of Colfax, Dennis Johnson and Larry (Rita) Johnson, both of Minneapolis. Lenora is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services will held at 11 a.m. Friday May 1, 2009 at West Akers Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm, with the Rev. Kenneth Kuziej officiating.
Anderson Funeral Home, Glenwood City, is handling arrangements.
