Obituary:
Donald Loren "D. L." White, 67, of Route 1 (Armel section), Winchester, died Saturday in Winchester Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Jones Funeral Home, Winchester, with Elder M. E. Cruz officiating, assisted by Al Hawkins and Floyd Cox. Burial will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery, Winchester.
Mr. White was born June 5, 1916, son of the late Edward and Carrie Bailey White. He was a member and elder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. A self-employed retired carpenter, he was a veteran of service with the 69th Division of Army Medical Corps during World War II. He was employed for several years in construction in Panama and Liberia.
Surviving with his wife, Jeannette Blosser White, are two brothers, Bailey E. White of Stanley and Wilton B. White of New Market, and a sister Zida Hepburn of Frederick, Md.
Pallbearers will be Howard Ashby, Joe Coffman, Jack Dehaven, Charles Wood, Clifford Pohle and Hartsell Brown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Winchester Seventh-day Adventist Church Building Fund, in care of Leona Dehaven of Route 1, Winchester.
