WHEELER, June 6 - Last rites for Lawrnece [sic] Franklin Forrest, 69, of Lella Lake, were held at 2 p.m. today in the Wheeler Church of Christ with E.M. Borden, minister, officiating.

Burial was in the Wheeler Cemetery under the direction of Kirk Funeral Home.

Mr. Forrest, a farmer, died Sunday in Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.

He was born Feb. 26, 1892, a native of Texas, and was a veteran of World War I.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. H.M. Jenkins of McAlester, Okla.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Morgan Pride of Wheeler, five brothers and two sisters.
