Gregory J. McCabe, Sr.
Age 63, of New Castle, DE, passed away Tuesday October 26, 1999 in the Christiana Hospital.
Mr. McCabe had been a pipefitter for over 36 years, retiring in 1993, working through the Pipefitters Union Local #74. He had been a veteran of the US Marines.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadette; a son, Gregory J. Jr. of Denver, CO; a daughter, Stephany Murray of Wilmington; his mother, Edna Moody of Pensacola, FL; a brother, Richard McCabe of Atmore, AL; a sister, Carol Ann Gelb of Long Island, NY; and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday morning at the JOHN F. YASIK FUNERAL HOME, 607 S. Harrison St. with visitation at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Cathedral Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Diabetes Association, 110 S. French St., Wilmington, DE 19801.
