GLENMORA - Funeral services for Louis J. Alston, Jr. will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003 in Rush Funeral Home, Glenmora, with Brother Dennis LeDoux officiating. Burial will be in Butters Cemetery, Forest Hill, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Alston, 59, of Glenmora, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 in Huey P. Long Hospital, Pineville.
He is preceded in death by his father, Louis J. Alston, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Era Alston of Glenmora; three brothers, Eugene Alston, Robert Alston and Jimmy Alston and his wife Audrey, all of Glenmora; three nephews, Robby Alston, Kurk Roy Alston and Jimmy "Bo" Alston II, all of Glenmora; three nieces, Aimee Alston, Wendy Alston and Melissa Alston, all of Glenmora; three great-nephews, Daylon Alston, Chaydon Alston and Alex Alston, all of Glenmora; and one great-niece, Alexis Alston of Glenmora.
