Steve worked at Stoughton Trailer as a welder for over 23 years. until 18 months ago when he was forced to retire due to health problems. He was a very friendly, easy going man who loved his family and enjoyed Packer football, NASCAR, fishing,and playing cards. Steve collected wolf pictures and figurines- hence his headstone.
Steve married Laurie in 1970 and they had a daughter, Melissa. Steve never remarried after his divorce from Laurie. Steve moved to Edgerton while working at Stoughton Trailers.
Steve is survived by his daughter, Melissa Garwood of Roanoke,Ind, his 2 grandchildren, Tessa and Logan Garwood, his mother, Mary K. Quade, 4 sisters, Jean Hanson of Milton, Donna(Pat Ford)Ulset of Edgerton, Debbie(Don)Lawson of Indianapolis, Ind, and Kim(John)Risch of Edgerton, sister in law, Velma Quade, many nieces and nephews, aunts,uncles,cousins,and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father,Donald and brother, Charles(Chuck) (who both died of a massive heart attack at a very early ages),infant brother,Thomas,infant sister,Kathy, brother-in-law, Larry Hanson, and his maternal and paternal grandparents,Raymond and Mary Keegan and Charles and Mabel Quade. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in a plot near his grandparents, Raymond and Mary(Conway) Keegans' graves.
