Mrs. Fannie Alcorn Houp 89,132 Circle Drive,Nicholasville,died 10:40 a.m. Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.She was a native of Jessamine County and a member of the Nicholasville Christian Church.She is survived by five daughters,Mrs.Hazel Clouse of Nicholasville,Mrs.James Mercer,Mrs.Gertrude Gooch,Mrs.Ethel Peeno and Mrs. Helen Wilson,all of Covington,Ky.;Three sons,Charles,Bill and Virgil B.,all of Nicholasville;One sister,Mrs. Minnie Hicks of Lexington;twenty-seven grandchildren and forty great-grandchildren.Services Friday 1:30 p.m. at the Betts & West Funeral Home,Nicholasville,with Rev.E.E. Sivis officiating,Burial in the Maple Grove Cemetery.Bearers are Johnny Clouse,David Lee Grow,Jerry and Terry Houp,Billie Joe Houp and Enes Houp.Friends may call after 1 p.m. today.
