Carl was a member of the VFW in Alpena. He loved to fish. During his military services he served seven tours in Viet Nam, he also served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired from the US Navy after serving 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, of Alco, Arkansas, two step-sons; one step-daughter and husband; one brother and wife; sister-in-law and husband; three grandsons, one granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Saturday, May 02, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Salem Cemetery in Dennard on Rocky Hill Road.
Cremation is under the direction of Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas.
