Tolono - Services for Orville C. Harden, 83 [sic], of Tolono, who died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 24, 1969) at Burnham City Hospital at Champaign following a traffic accident, were at 2 p.m. today at Tolono Methodist Church with the Rev. Richard Garabrant officiating. Burial was in Bailey Memorial Cemetery, Tolono. Born Feb. 14, 1887, at Covington, Ind., he was the son of Eugene and Dora Kistler [Harden]. He married Dottie Hart on Nov 7,1906, and she preceded him in death six years ago. Mr. Harden was mayor of Tolono for 23 years and Tolono Township Supervisor of the past seven years. A member of the Champaign County Draft Board for many years, he was a past master of Tolono Lodge 391, A. P. & A.M. and belonged to Danville Consistory. He was an auto dealer in Tolono for several year with the Ford Motor Co. He is survived by three sons, Bud, Clyde and Jerry, all of Tolono; two sisters, Mrs. Cleta Williams of Attica, Ind., and Mrs. Patience Services of Covington, Ind.; 17 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
