Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 10, at George Brothers Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Michael Barrett officiating. Interment will follow in Centre Friends Meeting Cemetery.
Mrs. Jordan was born April 21, 1918, in Guilford County, to the late Oscar Charles and Bessie Jane Turner Allred.
Mrs. Jordan was a member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church and a member of the Ruth Lanier Sunday School Class. She retired from Bates Nightware with 23 years of service and retired from Superior Knits with seven years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, John Silas Jordan and a son, James Curtis Jordan.
Mrs. Jordan is survived by a son, John Winford Jordan and wife, Annie of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Judy Jordan Batten and husband, Eddie of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; one sister, Lois Lockamy of Greensboro; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
