Quoted from Independent Record, Helena MT: Jeremy Matthew Morgan, 34, of Helena died April 22, as a result of head injuries following a motorcycle accident.

Born in Lincoln, Neb., on July 26, 1974, to Clark Matthews and Rosemary Morgan, Jeremy moved with his mother to Sacramento, Calif., before relocating permanently to Helena in 1983.

Known as "Worm" to his friends, he loved snowboarding, music and cooking and spent his career working as a cook and tradesman. In a long fought battle with addiction, he struggled to stay clean and sober.

He is survived by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary Morgan of Helena; grandfather, Fred Morgan of Helena; John and Alice Hoard of Omaha, Neb.

Memorial services was held Monday, April 27, at Gateway Center, 1710 National Ave., Helena.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Gateway Center, 1710 National Ave., Helena, MT 59601; or Montana Meth Project, P.O. Box 8944, Missoula, MT 59807
