Don M Esplin, 72, of Shelley, died at his daughter's home in Ucon. He was born at Basalt, Idaho to Marion C. Esplin and Voilet Mitchell. He graduated from Shelley High School and Ricks College where he majored in Agriculture. He served as a Corporal in the Army in Korea. He married Lorna Cox January 29, 1951 in the Idaho Falls Temple. He was a husband, father, rancher, farmer, and businessman.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the scouting program, in youth leadership positions, as a Sunday School Teacher, and he and his wife were Stake Dance Directors. He was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing, horseback riding, skiing, camping, hunting, square dancing, making pies, and especially spending time with his family.
