Heather Suzanne Allen Strube, age 25, of Covington, became an angel on Sunday, April 26, 2009. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Horis A. Ward's Rockdale Chapel at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Jason Parr, Rev. William P. McKinnon, officiating. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens in Conyers. Heather was a Wedding Coordinator and Floral Designer at Flowers of Olde Town in Conyers. She attended Shiloh High School in Snellville and Auburn University and Perimeter College, where she was earning her Business degree. She attended Calvary Chapel in Stone Mountain, and will be remembered as a loving daughter and mother, and best friend to many. She is survived by and will be sorely missed by her son, Carson Strube of Covington; father, Henry H. "Buddy" Allen III and mother, Mary McKinnon Allen of Conyers; brothers, Hank Allen of Conyers and Hunter Allen of Suwanee; paternal grandparents, H. Homer and Nancy Allen of Decatur; maternal grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. William P. and Saranne McKinnon of Flovilla; her beloved, Michael Vickers, and a large extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Virginia Henry McKinnon of Clinton,SC. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
