WM. ISOM O'BANNON
Wm. Isom O'Bannon, eldest son of the late John Frank and Martha Sloss O'Bannon, was born on April 15, 1870, and died on April 16, 1942, after a lingering illness of paralysis at his home in Farmington.
On Feb. 14, 1899, he was united in marriage to Belle Murphy. To this union nine children were born. Two sons and one daughter died in infancy. He is survived by his wife, one son, Sidney, at home; five daughters, Virginia (Mrs. Leeman) Byington, of Doe Run; Althea of Fredericktown; Faye (Mrs. John L.) Hubbard, of DeLassus; Mattie (Mrs. G.E.) Davis and Flora, of St. Louis; five brothers and four sisters, Tom O 'Bannon, of Farmington Route Two; Parkhurst O 'Bannon of Knob Lick, Henry, Virgil, J. C. and Mary O 'Bannon, of St. Louis; Maggie (Mrs. J. A.) Wescoat, of Morley; Flora (Mrs. Willard) Billington, of De Soto, and Pattye (Mrs. Chas) Graner of Fredericktown Route Three; ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
