Funeral services for Mrs. Dessie R. Puckett, 76, Rt. 2, Hartselle, who died February 4 at a local hospital, were Saturday, February 5, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. High Compton and Rev. Wendell Callahan officiating. Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery, Peck directing.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Puckett, Rt. 2, Hartselle; two sons, Howell Puckett, Decatur, and David Puckett, Ashland City, Tenn; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Maddox, Rt. 2, Hartselle; one brother, Roy Roberts, Decatur; five grandchildren.
Pallbearers included Brad Puckett, Tommy Roberts, Harold Sparkman, John D. Long, Jim Maddox and Donald Wallace.
Mrs. Puckett was a lifelong member of Neel United Methodist Church.
